KITTY T.V. FOOD

INT. APARTMENT - MORNING

MUSIC BEGINS - Lively, fun

FADE IN:

CAT lays in a window sill, eyes barely open.

LOW ANGLE POV HANDHELD moving through hallway, as if on hunt.

CAT lays in sun, eyes closed sleeping but facing CAMERA.

LOW ANGLE POV HANDHELD moving through hallway, as if still on hunt.

CAT sits next to a bowl of cat food looking disgusted towards the camera.

LOW ANGLE POV HANDHELD toward an open doorway, about to enter.

WIDE SHOT CAT sitting upright in front of an aquarium, facing it, as if it were a large screen T.V. The aquarium is illuminated, emitting a greenish, blue glow.

HANDWRITTEN TITLE "Kitty T.V." WRITTEN across top of FRAME at same time "Kitty T.V." is spoken by V.O.

"T.V." TITLE CROSSED OUT and "Food" is WRITTEN next to it when spoken by V.O. A BEAT. PAW PRINT appears next to "Food".

MUSIC RESOLVES at end of V.O.

FADE TO BLACK.

INT. APARTMENT, HALLWAY - day

(NOTE: ALL SHOTS of HUMAN should be from the WAIST DOWN only. The film is from the perspective of CAT.)

OVER SHOULDER of CAT watching HUMAN walking out the front door.

DOOR SWINGS CLOSED and FOOTSTEPS SFX.

OVER SHOULDER of CAT turning and seeing aquarium.

BACK TO PREVIOUS SHOT but HUMAN is absent and door is now closed.

FOOTSTEPS FADE O.S.

CAT walks into LIVING ROOM towards aquarium and sit in front of it, similar to title shot.

AQUARIUM with fish and turtle inside.

CAT reaches paw forward, touching glass of aquarium. She is obviously frustrated by an apparent shield.

MULTIPLE ANGLES of CAT moving around aquarium and attempting to reach fish through glass.

CAT sits in front of aquarium, similar to title shot.

CAT POV towards top of the aquarium.

CAT stretches up the glass, front paws walking up the glass, her eyes on fish swimming towards the front of the aquarium.

HIGHER ANGLED SHOT of CAT reaching a mounted clear plastic guard on the top of the aquarium.

O.S. FOOTSTEPS become apparent and FRONT DOOR OPENS. sfx

CAT darts away.

FADE TO BLACK.

INT. APARTMENT, LIVING ROOM - day

CAT sits, facing aquarium in b.g.

CAT TURNS over shoulder.

POV of empty doorway. SILENCE.

RETURN TO PREVIOUS SHOT and CAT begins to approach aquarium.

CAT sits upright in front of aquarium, similar to title shot.

CLOSE UP CAT.

POV towards top of the aquarium.

CLOSE UP CAT.

CAT leap on top of the aquarium, over plastic guard and onto mounted lighting rig. There's just barely enough space for her to sit.

CAT POV behind aquarium between wall and light rig.

CAT timidly reaches towards surface of water.

MULTIPLE SHOTS of several attempts.

O.S. FOOT STEPS become apparent.

CAT startles and freezes in place, looking towards door.

POV towards doorway and HUMAN enters.

CAT darts away.

FADE TO BLACK.

INT. Apartment, LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

CAT sits, facing aquarium, similar shot to previous.

HUMAN ENTERS FRAME and walks towards aquarium.

HUMAN reaches for fish and turtle food.

CLOSE UP of CAT with piqued curiosity, a smell comes over her.

CAT begs for food from HUMAN.

HUMAN gives CAT a few pellets of turtle food.

CAT eats turtle pellets.

FADE TO BLACK.
